Abstract:
To provide a data set creation method, a data set creation device, and a data set creation program that can create a data set for 3D object detection even with an image having less image features and an image in a disorderly environment.SOLUTION: A data set creation device calculates, based upon input image data of a plurality of images, information associated with a border region of an object included in the respective images, and uses the information associated with the border region of the object to group two-dimensional feature points acquired for each image using image features. Three-dimensional points corresponding to the two-dimensional feature points and calculated from the image data are grouped based upon the number of groups for each image when the two-dimensional feature points are grouped. Based upon information associated with the border region of the object and the grouped three-dimensional points, information is obtained which relates to the border region representing the same object in the plurality of images. Based upon the information, information associated with a three-dimensional object region is calculated for each border region, and an annotation is added to create a data set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
