Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily allocate the insertion position of an external signal only with the rewriting of ROM, to flexibly correspond to the design change of LSI and to eliminate the need of adding outer ROM for mapping.
SOLUTION: This controller is provided with ROM 2 where initialization data for a circuit to be controlled 1 and mapping information of an external signal 8 are written, an address generation part 3 reading prescribed ROM data from ROM 2 and generating/outputting an address for writing setting data in the circuit 1, a data holding part 7 holding initialization data in the lowest bit of the outputted address as a trigger, a 2n: 1SEL10 reading an external signal selection bit from ROM 2 and selecting one of 2m-pieces of external signals, 1:2n SEL 12 reading an external signal insertion position bit and switching a bit position so that the external signal is inserted and an external signal setting/inserting part 13 giving setting data obtained by OR of initialization setting data from the data holding part 7 and the external signal form 1:2n SEL to the circuit.
