Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality in the case of data signal transmission.
SOLUTION: Data signal are assigned between a 1st pilot signal PS1 and a 2nd pilot signal PS2 by a slot multiplexer circuit 15. When one slot period is 1msec and a transmission speed is less than 32kbps, burst transmission is conducted. In this case, the slot multiplexer circuit 15 assigns a data signal in the middle of each slot. For example, when the transmission speed is 16kbps or 8kbps, a data signal in 16-bit or 8-bit is assigned in the middle of each slot. In this case, even when a signal to noise ratio of the transmission line is low and the transmission quality is wrong, since noise superimposed on the 1st, 2nd pilot signals PS1, PS2 is averaged at the middle part of each slot, it is possible to conduct synchronization detection by using a highly accurate reference phase.
