Abstract:
To provide a data storage device capable of effectively deleting unnecessary data, and effectively storing new data when any free area is lacking.
This data storage device is provided with: a data acquiring part 71 for acquiring newly necessary data; a data storage part 6 for storing the acquired data; a data ion part 73 for deleting the data stored in the data storage part 6; and a data management part 72 for extracting unnecessary data from the data already stored in the data storage part 6 under the consideration of a data size when any free area for storing the newly acquired data are king in the data storage part 6 and for performing the deletion by a data deletion part 74 erase the extracted unnecessary data.
