Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch reception data while keeping encoding units by detecting the encoding unit of data from the reception data, selecting and transmitting only one data stream.
SOLUTION: Data unit detectors 1A and 1B detect the encoding units of reception data 10A and 10B as encoded data streams and each time the head/end of encoded data is detected, it is respectively reported to buffers 2A and 2B. A selector 3 reports a release request to the buffer 2A which receives data at present. The buffer 2A sends out data continuously to the final point of encoded data and when the final point is reached, the data output to the selector 3 is stopped. The selector 3 reports the selection to the buffer 2B and afterwards, the data from the buffer 2B are received and outputted as transmission data 11. The buffer 2B starts sending out data from the head point of the encoded data.
