Abstract:
PURPOSE:To avoid the collision of signals on a data line by transmitting the status signals in its plural cycles. CONSTITUTION:An equipment A outputs the transfer mode information onto a data line 5 in a cycle T1 and at the same time sets the transfer mode signal at '1' on a transfer mode signal line 8. Then the equipment A outputs the input data onto the line 5 in a cycle T3 and at the same time sets the input data signal at '1' on an input data signal line 9. An equipment B sets the status signal at '1' on a status signal line 11 during cycles T3 and T4 and transmits it. The status signal reaches a status signal receiving part 13 from a status signal transmitting part 12 via the line 11. Then the control signal is applied to a data transmission/reception part 3 via a control signal line 14. Furthermore the status signal is applied to a data transmission/reception part 4 via a control signal line 15. The output is prohibited onto the line 5 in the cycle T3 and the status information is sent onto the line 5 in the cycle T4.
