To actualize a data transfer means which minimizes the possibility of a security hole of a system by a simple method in a data transfer device, etc., which transfers data via a network, such as the Internet.

In the data transfer device, which performs data transfer through the network between a data collection site device which collects data generated with the time and a data-processing site device which performs data processing regarding the collected data, the collected data is transferred by mail from the data collection site to the data processing site.
