Abstract:
PURPOSE: To save the communication cost by devising the method such that whether the connection state of a line is interrupted or continued without circuit disconnection is automatically controlled based on a required time.
CONSTITUTION: When a processing result is sent from a master equipment to a host computer, whether or not the line connection state between the master equipment and the host computer is continued is discriminated based on the required time. As a result, when it is discriminated that the line connection should not be continued, the line connection state is broken and data transfer is waited for a required time. Then a public line is connected again between the master equipment and the host computer. Thus, whether or not the line connection state is continued without interruption is automatically controlled based on the required time.
