Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission device which easily implements data communication with an extremely simple and inexpensive circuit configuration, and a data reception device.SOLUTION: In the data transmission device, a voltage of a rectangular wave is given to a sounder such as a piezoelectric speaker 207 of which the frequency band is narrow and which has a strong peak in a peculiar oscillation frequency and generates oscillation that is attenuated in a short time, such that eigen-sounder vibration is generated at an edge of the rectangular wave. A data transfer rate sufficient for transmitting a small amount of data with low-volume sound can be realized. In the data reception device, the sound generated by the data transmission device is converted into an audio signal by a microphone 510 and converted into digital data by an A/D converter 511 and waveform data 517 of the sounder in the data transmission device are then used to extract only a high-correlation sound component.
