Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of a memory even when transmitted data varies in its size.
CONSTITUTION: A user interface function part 76 divides the data storage area of a transmitting buffer 46 into blocks corresponding to maximum frame length (LMAX) in an initial state together with an initialization control function part 78, and makes them correspond to management tables, one to one. Further, a buffer control block managing function part 80 manages the data storage area divided into the blocks by using the management table group as a memory cache. For transmission, the user interface function part 76 redivides the blocks into blocks of size matching the memory size by using a buffer control block managing function part 80, in-use memory queue managing means 84-92, and used memory queue managing means 94-99.
