Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a communication command is not given and a controller must continue to be in reception waiting state in a busy state that data are transmitted from a transmitting/receiving processing part to a game machine body, as to a data transmitter-receiver for transmitting the communication command from the transmitting/receiving processing part to the controller and transmitting an operation signal from the controller to the transmitting/receiving part.
SOLUTION: Data D10, D20, and so on, including communication commands are successively sent from the transmitting/receiving processing part 3 to respective controllers and the controllers receiving the data transmit data ACK10, ACK20, and so on, including operation signals to the processing part 3. In a period TM that the processing part 3 communicates with the game machine body, a dummy signal DM is transmitted from the processing part 3. At the time of receiving the dummy signal DM, the controller CT10 executes control for setting up a receiving mode next time without transmitting the operation signal. As a result, data are transmitted/received between the processing part 3 and each controller even at busy periods, and since the controller side becomes a short receiving mode in the busy period, the power consumption of the controller can be reduced.
