Title:
DATA TRANSMITTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3241954
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To generate high speed phasing in a receiver by transmitting signals from two orthogonally polarized antennas so that signals may have offset slightly varying with time between both antennas.
CONSTITUTION: A data signal is sent from a data signal source 20 in a transmitter part 10 to channels 21, 22 and carried to respective transmitting antennas 30, 32. The transmission phase of the signal to be transmitted from the antenna 30 is timewise-varied by a mixer 24 and an oscillator 26. Time variation phase offset corresponding to fixed frequency offset (about 3 to 6kHz for sound communication) of about 1 to 2% data symbol speed is used for the speed of antenna polarity variation. The antennas 30, 32 consisting of linear antennas transmit orghogonally polarized signals, i.e., the antenna 30 transmits a linear polarized signal on a vertical face and the antenna 32 transmits a linear polarized signal on a horizontal face. These signals are transmitted through multiple passes and modulated by nose, delay, distortion, etc., and a combined transmitting signal are received by a receiving antenna 35 as a synthetic signal.
