Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission device and the like capable of completing transmission by a time limit even if it is detected that the transmission is not completed by the time limit due to the degradation of transmission speed of a network during transmission of encoded data based on original data.SOLUTION: A data transmission device comprises: encode parameter selecting means for selecting a first encode parameter based on original data and a second encode parameter which has transmission time shorter than that of the first encode parameter; encoding means for transmitting first encoded data, and encoding the original data by the second encode parameter; and transmission data controlling means for controlling to stop the transmission of the first encoded data, and transmit a second encoded data from data transmitting means, when time limit exceeding detecting means detects that the transmission is not completed by a transmission completing time limit, during the transmission of the first encoded data.
