PURPOSE: To lower the signal transmission speed to ≥ twice transmission speed of message information by identifying whether a data bit is the message information or a boundary of the message information depending on the significance/ non-significance of an identification bit.
CONSTITUTION: In transferring the message information among plural transmitters connected in series with a transmission line, a frame signal of transmission consists of a synchronising pattern SYN and plural basic transmission units U. The transmission unit U consists of an identification bit A and a data bit D, and when the bit A is zero, the next data bit D is the message information and when the bit A is logical 1, the transmission unit U is handled as a bit string representing the boundary of the message information. Then it is possible to transfer the message information over plural frame signals as shown in message M when the bit A is logical 1 and the length of the message M is not limited by the length of the frame signal. Moreover, a signal on a transmission line corresponds to each small bit of the transmission unit U and the signal speed is increased for the part corresponding to the SYN and the bit A only.
