Abstract:

To provide a data transmitting and receiving system comprising an electronic license plate and on-vehicle equipment, which transmits an electronic license number set to a vehicle with vehicle information and/or personal information.

In this data transmitting and receiving system, the electronic license plate has a storage part preliminarily storing the electronic license number, and a number-side antenna for transmitting and receiving data with a road-side antenna by near distant radio communication. The on-vehicle equipment has a number signal transformation part for transforming the data transmitted and received between the electronic license plate and the on-vehicle equipment to corresponding data signals, and one or more computer terminals set in the vehicle, the computer terminals performing control of information equipment and/or control equipment set on the vehicle to acquire and store the data.
