Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain the direct transmission of data between slave stations in a polling transmitting system.
CONSTITUTION: This system is constituted of a control station 1 and plural slave stations 2, 3...4 multipoint-connected to the control station 1, and the control stations 1 acts as a central control station, and executes polling transmission. A switch means 11 to loop back data transmission lines 5, 6 is provided in the control station 1, and a data transmission completion information signal line 8 is provided newly between the control station 1 and the slave stations 2, 3...4, and when a response purporting that the data transmission is desired to execute directly to another slave station is returned from the slave station, the control station 1 permits the data transmission between the slave stations by looping back the data transmission lines 5, 6 by the switch 11, and cancels the loop-back of the transmission lines 5, 6 by a data transmission completion information signal from the slave station.
