Abstract:

PURPOSE: To generate a Japanese language notation candidate for the respective components of a schema required for making an inquiry by Japanese language and executing output at the Japanese language interface of a database.
CONSTITUTION: A database schema acquirement part 103 extracts and acquires schema information from an objective database 102. A schema information holding part 104 holds the extracted schema information. A component character string analysis part 109 outputs respective database component names in schema information to a Japanese language morpheme string by using a dictionary 115 including an alphanumerics character string analysis rule 110, an English/ Japanese translation dictionary 111, a Roman character/KANA (Japanese syllabary)-KANJI (Chinese character) conversion dictionary 112, a partitioning mark dictionary 113 and an abbreviation mark dictionary 114. A Japanese language notation generation part 118 generates a Japanese language notation from the outputted Japanese language morpheme string and a Japanese language notation generation rule. A schema Japanese language notation holding part 119 holds the generated Japanese language notation in accordance with the database constitution element name becoming input.
