Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for storing and retrieving data in a mass storage medium.

CONSTITUTION: A keyword dictionary inside a data file is edited and a single ID number is assigned to respective keywords. The plural keywords which are generated most frequently are assigned to the opposite ID number where the frequency of keyword generation is min. The keyword dictionary is classified into plural classes and the class of the keywords with min. generation frequency in a database is provided with max. information quantity concerning the correct position of the keyword inside a min. index label and the data file.
