Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain with a simple circuit configuration an AC output having a waveshape as close to sine wave as possible, in a DC-AC inverter for converting a DC power supply into an AC power supply.
CONSTITUTION: By a microcomputer 14, a reference AC waveshape signal Va is outputted. By the feeding of the DC power from a battery 11, the reference AC waveshape signal Va is power-amplified by a power MOSFET18, and is applied to a primary winding PO of a step-up transformer 20. The current flowing through the primary winding PO is subjected to a switching by a high-frequency switching power MOSFET19. The full-wave rectification waveshape voltages appearing in secondary windings S1, S2 of the step-up transformer 20 are stored alternately in a capacitor 24 every half-wave, via rectification diodes 23a, 23b, and both by photo-couplers 21a, 21b which are switched on or off alternately every half-wave and by transistors 22a, 22b. Thereby, a sine- wave AC output is taken out of terminals T1, T2 provided at both the ends of the capacitor 24.
