Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter which enables reduction in power consumption and acceleration of rise of output voltage.
SOLUTION: A voltage generating portion 23 generates a direct-current voltage Vo1, which is different from a supply voltage Vp, according to the switching operation of an output transistor Tr1, and a control portion 14 controls the switching operation of the output transistor Tr1. A current detecting portion 24 detects a load current outputted from the voltage generating portion 23, and when the load current is equal to or less than a specified value, a stop control portion 25 keeps the output transistor Tr1 in on-state according to a detection signal Vd from the current detecting portion 24, and stops the operation of the control portion 14.
