Abstract:
To provide a highly reliable safety DC converter inexpensively.
The DC converter performing DC converting operation for rectifying/smoothing the voltage of the secondary winding S1 of a transformer T through a rectifying/smoothing circuit to produce output voltage Vo by turning a main switch Q1 connected in series with the primary winding P1 of the transformer T and the auxiliary switch Q2 in a series circuit consisting of a capacitor C2 and the auxiliary switch Q2 and connected across the primary winding P1 of the transformer T on/off alternately is provided with a control circuit 11 for stopping the DC converting operation by turning the main switch Q1 off and turning the auxiliary switch Q2.
