Abstract:
To provide a DC-DC converter capable of current limit operation over a wide range of the output voltage.
A booster converter 100 boost the input voltage. An insulated converter 10 converts the output of the booster converter 100 into a predetermined voltage for output. If an output current detected by a current sensor 52 exceeds the threshold, the booster converter 100 restricts the output current according to an instruction from a control circuit 20. When an sufficient current cannot be restricted by only the booster converter 100, the insulated converter 10 restricts the output current in accordance with the instruction from the control circuit 20.
