Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC high-voltage unit, capable of preventing the insulation withstand voltage of an insulator from dropping, while achieving size reduction by ensuring a prescribed insulation distance of a high-voltage part without dispersion and reducing the number of parts.
SOLUTION: In the DC high-voltage unit 2 which generates DC high voltage using a Cockcroft-Walton circuit 4, the Cockcroft-Walton circuit 4 consists of a smoothing capacitor train 41 and a press-down capacitor train 42 on sides of the insulation plate facing each other, and a diode train 43 attached in between both the capacitor trains, so as to obtain a negative output. Cut sections or holes are provided at the whole or part of the insulation plate between part terminals attached onto the insulation plate, where resin 8 is filled.
