Abstract:
To provide a DC motor with a commutator capable of sufficiently control conduct and radiate an electromagnetic noise generated, for example, between a carbon brush and the commutator to an outside.SOLUTION: A DC motor 10 includes an electric noise prevention element connected with a commutator 19. Commutator 19 constitutes a recessed element storage space with extending strip parts of plural commutator segments, an insulating cylinder part 24 and an outer end face of the commutator 19. In the element storage space, any one of plural electrodes of the electric noise prevention element and any one of the extending strip parts are integrally joined respectively by a fusion zone using solder welding. The commutator 19, a carbon brush 22, a brush holder 21 and the electric noise prevention element are arranged inside an end cap 20. A coating layer formed by a conductive material for preventing conduction noises and radiation noises is provided on the entirety of an outer peripheral surface of the end cap 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
