To reduce the power consumption of a direct current (DC) outlet, and to stabilize an output voltage of outputted DC power.
A DC outlet comprises: an outlet power supply part which converts DC power supplied from a DC power supply system into desired DC power; a socket part which outputs the converted DC power to an external device; a power storage device which is connected in parallel to a transmission path connecting the outlet power supply part and the socket part; and a voltage/current detection part which detects, on the transmission path, an output current of the DC power outputted from the socket part and an output voltage of the power storage device. If DC power to be outputted, which is calculated based on the output voltage and the output current thus detected, is lower than an output power determination value Pa, and the detected output voltage is higher than a battery voltage lower limit value VL, then the outlet power supply part stops the DC power conversion operation and outputs, via the socket part, DC power outputted from the power storage device.
