Abstract:
To provide a DC reactor capable of improving distortion in a DC component and an AC component of a main winding current run through a main winding and achieving size reduction.
The DC reactor includes: a core 1; a main winding 2 wound around the core 1; an auxiliary winding 3 wound around the core 1 bypassing the main winding 2 and including a magnetic path of the main winding 2 and a common magnetic path; and a current passing section 4 for passing, through the auxiliary winding 3, such an auxiliary winding current as to cancel a magnetic flux developed by the main winding 2, depending on the size of the magnetic flux.
