Abstract:
To provide a method of deactivating noxious proteins capable of completely deactivating noxious proteins such as infective prion proteins and realizing manufacturing of safe bone-meal feed, etc.
In this method, noxious proteins such as infective prion proteins contaminated in the raw material of bone-meal feed are broken into small molecules by melt shearing of peptide bonds.
