Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the deaeration of the drain of a deaeration condenser even when the load and flow rate are low.
SOLUTION: A deaeration condenser is provided with tube bundles 3a-3c which condense steam 2 discharged from a turbine by heat-exchanging the steam with fluids flowing in the bundles 3a-3c, a deaerator 14 which deaerates condensed drains 4 by spraying the drains 4 through the tube bundles 3a-3c, and a hot well 9 which recovers the sprayed drains 4. The deaerator is provided with a perforated plate and the quantity of water sprayed from the perforated plate is set in such a way that a water level can be formed in the deaerator 14 when the load and flow rate are low.
