To save the power consumption of a deaerator and to keep the deaeration performance of the deaerator excellent.
This deaerator is provided with the first deaeration means 2 for deaerating the liquid to be deaerated, a tank 3 arranged on the downstream side of the means 2 and the second deaeration means 4 for deaerating the deaerated liquid in the tank 3.
