Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deaerator which can eliminate the ullage of the volume of sucked water by eliminating the negative load resistance (N.P.S.H.) occurring in a suction opening of a lift pump during withdrawing of the water from a vacuum tank.
SOLUTION: An exhaust passage 12 is disposed between a suction side of a circulating pump 9 for circulating the deaerated water subjected to degasification treatment in a deaeration tank 6 to the interior and exterior of the deaeration tank and a vacuum pump 5 side for subjecting the interior of the deaeration tank 6 to the deaeration. The gas evolved by accompanying the generation of the vacuum negative pressure on the suction side of the circulating pump 9 is discharged toward the vacuum pump 5.
