Patent Searching and Data

Title:
DEBUGGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3139393
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the same value as in the case when instructions are not rearranged, at the time of displaying the value of a variable at an interrupting point by setting the interrupting point to a object program in which instructions are rearranged by the optimizing processing of a compiler.
SOLUTION: A preprocessing setting processing means 21a searches a precedent executed sentence an instruction corresponding to it comes to be positioned before the interruption point by the rearrangement of the instructions by the compiler 10, and a postprocessing setting processing means 22a searches an un-executed sentence an instruction corresponding to it comes to be positioned after the interruption point by the rearrangement of the instructions. A preprocessing means 25 stores the value of a variable just before the instruction corresponding to the searched precedent executed sentence and post processing means 26 stores the value of a variable at the time of pseudo-executing to an instruction corresponding to a last un-executed sentence. An information display processing means 23 displays a stored value when the display-indicated variable value is stored by the means 25 or 26.
