PURPOSE: To execute easily debugging, by combining an optional command prepared in advance, an optional data and a control data, and setting them to a card reader.

CONSTITUTION: When debugging a firmware of a terminal equipment 9, an optional command, an optional data and a control data are punched in advance. This card is combined and set to a card reader 10. By only this operation, a test program 1 is started, and the command and the data are sent out to the equipment 9. The equipment 9 executes a prescribed operation by the sent command, and sends out status information of a fact that the operation is completed normally, to a terminal controller 6. When this status information is detected, the test program 1 outputs the status information to a printer 4 in accordance with a trace indication of a control data. If the equipment 9 does not execute a normal operation, an operator sets separately a test data, sets it to the card reader 10, and can execute debugging in the same way.
