PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove burs from a work in a short time without damaging surface of the work or deforming. SOLUTION: A work is deburred by blasing deburring medium Bm composed of carbonate blasted at a specified pressure against the work through a nozzle 11. For example, a piston ring Pr is held by a work holding fixture 15 so as to be rotated by a work rotation means 14 at a specified number of revolution, and deburring medium Bm composed of carbonate is blasted against the piston ring Pr at a specified pressure from the nozzle 11 provided for the outer circumferential surface side and/or the inner circumferential surface side of the piston ring Pr so as to remove window burs Pwb around a window part Prw penetrated through from the outer circumference to the inner circumference and abutment burs Pcb around an abutment part Prc cut and formed at one place in the circumferential direction to be removed. In this case, the blasting angle of deburring medium Bm is set at a desired optimum angle while the direction of the nozzle 11 is freely adjusted. Besides, deburring medium Bm having finished up deburring, is separated from burs, and is recovered so as to be used again.
