PURPOSE: To surely remove burr by forming a pressing part and an engaging part for the burr in a punch and bending the burr to reverse direction with the engaging part after bending at first the burr with the pushing part.

CONSTITUTION: A driving plate 16 to be possible to descend/ascend is arranged and the upper end of the punch 24 is fixed through a backing plate 22. Then, the punch 24 is fitted to the driving plate 16 and the backing plate 22 through rubber cushion material 28 and returning material 30. The pressing part 32a and the engaging part 32b are formed in the punch 24 and by driving the driving plate 16, the punch 24 is descended. Then, at first, the pressing part 32a bends the burr 18 and descends. Next, at the time of ascending the punch 24, the engaging part 32b bends the bent burr 18 toward reverse direction and removes it. Impulse force at the time of bringing the punch 24 into contact with the work 12, is relaxed with the cushion material 28 and the returning material 30. By this method, the burr 18 is surely removed.
