Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent fault such as rear-end collision by providing a deceleration display through an operating switch interlocked with accelerator pedal when performing deceleration while separating foot from said pedal thereby displaying the decelerating condition of car quickly and clearly. CONSTITUTION:An operating switch 3 openable/closable through connection/ disconnection of coupling rod 2 is provided within rolling range of rollable coupling rod 2 coupled with an accelerator pedal 1 at the free end. When separating the foot from the accelerator pedal 1 to perform decleration, the operating switch 3 is turned on to display decleration. While when stepping the accelerator pedal 1 to perform acceleration, acceleration may be displayed. Since deceleration can be displayed quickly at the time point when separating the foot from the accelerator pedal 1, safety can be improved when compared with conventional display interlocked with brake pedal.
