Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed reduction mechanism capable of adjusting a rotation center distance between an input side and an output side with a simple structure without changing a speed reduction ratio.SOLUTION: A speed reduction mechanism comprises: an annular member 2 which is formed into a hollow state and can rotate; a rotary body 3 which is arranged within a hollow region inside the annular member 2, and rotates with driving force; an endless transmission member 4 which has an outer peripheral side arranged in contact with the rotary body 3 to be driven as the rotary body 3 rotates, and transmits turning force of the rotary body 3 to the annular member 2; and retaining means 5 of pressing the endless transmission member 4 and holding the contact state so that the outer peripheral side of the endless transmission member 4 comes into contact with part of an inner peripheral side of the annular member 2 so as to transmit the turning force of the rotary member 3 to the annular member 4 through the endless transmission member 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
