Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the production efficiency and to provide a compact device by disposing a power input bevel gear to the input shaft which is set at angle relative to the output shaft, and by making the bearing support member for the input shaft as a separate unit. CONSTITUTION:The input shaft 27a having a bevel gear 36a formed into one piece is disposed in front of the output shaft 14a and is set at angle relative to said output shaft 14a. The rear end of the input shaft 27a is supported through a bearing 29 by a bearing support case 28a as a bearing support member attached between the center wall 15 of the upper case and the wall 16 of the lower case 16. It is also supported through a bearing 33 by the input shaft front cover 32a as a bearing support member whose both ends are attached between the front wall 30 of the upper case and the front wall 31 of the lower case. The projecting front end is also supported by the bearing 33, and an input shaft coupler 35a for coupling the flywheel 34a of the engine is attached to the projecting front end.
