Title:
DECELERATOR FOR MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5674060
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the rotating force transmission efficiency of a decelerator for a motor by arranging a pair of worm gears in mesh with a worm at both sides of the worm rotatably driven by the motor and thereby preventing the deflection of the worm and reducing the wear of the worm gears. CONSTITUTION:The worm 5 is formed at one end of a rotary shaft 4 secured to the rotor 3 of the motor 1, and a pair of worm gears 12a and 13a are provided at least in mesh with the worm 5 at both sides of the worm 5. The first gear 12b is secured to the shaft 12c of the worm gear 12a to thereby form the first superposed gear 12. The second gear 13b is secured to the shaft 13c of the worm gear 13a to thereby form the second superposed gear 13. Thus, the first and second gears 12b and 13b are engaged directly in mesh with each other. Then, one of both of the shafts 12c and 13c are used as an output shaft.
