A component stock information providing apparatus which provides stock information on the individual components of a system comprising a combination of at least hardware modules and units as the components is equipped with a stock information recording database 1 in which the stock information on the individual components is recorded; a display request acceptance part 2 which accepts a specification input specifying a component whose stock information is to be obtained among the individual components whose stock information is recorded in the stock information recording database 1; a stock information acquisition part 3 which obtains the stock information on the component specified by the specification input from the stock information recording database 1 according to the specification input to the display request acceptance part 2; and a stock information display part 4 which displays the stock information on the component obtained by the stock information acquisition part 3.
