Abstract:
PURPOSE:To avoid unnecessary calculation for the optimum adjusted value by always monitoring the effective and reactive powers of a generator, and calculating the optimum adjusted value when it is discriminated that the powers are displaced from the effective range of the optimum adjusted value. CONSTITUTION:A discrininating block 2 disriminates whether the present values of the effective and reactive powers obtained from a generator 1 are displaced from the effective ranges of the optimum adjusted value used at present or not, and the optimum adjusted value calculating block 3 calculates the optimum adjusted value when it displaces. When the set values VS, PS of the voltage and power of the generator 1 are altered, whether the optimum adjusted value used at present in a discriminating block 4 is displaced from the effective range or not is discriminated, to calculate the optimum adjusted value. Accordingly, the wasteful calculation can be avoided by eliminating the necessity of always calculating the optimum adjusted value, thereby improving the rapid responsiveness and simplifying the calculator.
