Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain proper asymptotic state to the target value by deciding the next control cycle with the output value used as a function when the temperature of a subject is controlled based on a fuzzy rule. CONSTITUTION:A fuzzy rule defines a fuzzy assembly of a variation T1 between the measured temperature of a control subject and its target level and a fuzzy assembly of a change rate of the measured temperature as an antecedent part and then defines a fuzzy assembly of the control output value To decided by the combination of the T1 and the rate as a consequent part respectively. When the temperature of the subject is controlled based on the fuzzy rule, the next control cycle is decided with the output value used as a function. In this case, a short control cycle is decided with the large function and a long control cycle is decided with the small function respectively. As a result, the smooth control is assured toward the target value in a more gentle curve despite the large output large. Meanwhile the next control cycle is increased owing to a small change rate when the output value is large. Thus the smooth control of temperature is attained in a gentle curve.
