Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accelerate the decoding of an MR code.
CONSTITUTION: In the decoding method for the MR code, the part of continuing V(0) in one line is moved from Steps 6 and 7 to a Step 8, and the run length code of the referring line is copied. By copying the run length code of the referring line continuously only for a number smaller than the number of continuous V(0) by one while repeating this operation as mentioned above, the MR code is decoded.
