Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for decomposing a polymer resin, particularly wasted FRP molded articles, wherein the glass fibers and the polymer resin parts can be easily separated.
Polymer resins are treated with a gas mixture of a halogen compound and water in a pressure vessel at a temperature T of 40°C≤T≤500°C and under a pressure P of 0.1MPa≤P≤0.5MPa, wherein the bond ratio Xi of the halogen compound to the water is 0≤Xi≤ca. 0.5 or ca. 0.5≤Xi≤1.0.
