Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an engine compact and reduce a manufacturing cost of the engine.SOLUTION: A decompression device 1 for an outboard engine according to this invention includes: a supporting shaft part 35 arranged in a direction crossing at a right angle with an axial direction of a cam shaft 32 at an adjoining position of an exhaust cam 32 on a cam shaft 30; a lift part 42 arranged at one side while interposing the supporting shaft part 35; a weight part 46 arranged at the another side while interposing the supporting shaft part 35; and a decompression lever 36 arranged to be turnable around the supporting shaft part 35 by a weight of a weight part 46 between a decompression operating position where the lift part 42 is engaged with the exhaust cam 32 and protrudes from a cam surface of the exhaust cam 32 to the outer side in a radial direction and a decompression operating releasing position where the lift part 42 is spaced away from the exhaust cam 32. The decompression lever 36 is formed in an annular shape and can be divided into several segments.
