In the decorating method for the decorative material, in which an uneven pattern is decorated on a sheet laminated through an adhesive on the surface of a heat-resistant base material, the uneven pattern is decorated through the thermal deformation of the sheet by a heating processing after the lamination of the sheet to the base material or nearly simultaneous with the lamination. The heating processing is a processing with a hot roll press or with a heat press. In addition, the sheet is made of a plurality of sheets having melting temperatures different from one another under the state that the melting temperature of the sheet on the surface side of the base material among the sheets is set lower than those of the other remaining sheets and the temperature at the heating process is set higher than the melting temperature of the sheet on the surface side of the base material.
