Abstract:
To provide a decoration material obtained in a shape to be processed into an accessory, and exhibiting illuminance or color development having each different hue under a visible light, ultraviolet rays and infrared rays.
A single crystal having a composition represented by the chemical formula: (NdxR1-x)2O3 (wherein, 0≤x≤1; and R is at least one kind selected from the group consisting of Sc, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu) is used as the decoration material.
