Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoration member that prevents a fixed jewel from falling off, has improved appearance, and prevents allergic inflammation from occurring, and its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: In the decoration member a jewel consisting of a crown part in a pyramid trapezoid shape and a pavilion part in a conical shape is fixed by a retaining tool, the claw of the retaining tool consisting of at least three claws is brought into contact with the crown part and the pavilion part of the jewel by line contact. Also, in the method for manufacturing the decoration member, the jewel is fixed to the retaining tool that is composed of at least three claws while a solid angle formed by at least three claws is smaller than that formed by the side surface of the pavilion part with the curette of the jewel as an apex by elastically deforming the claw in the direction of an expansion diameter, pressing and inserting the jewel where a groove is cut in the crown part, or the crown part and the pavilion part, and bending the claw inside at the girdle of the jewel, the jewel-fixing part of the claw is left for cutting the surplus part at the tip side of the claw.
