Abstract:
To provide a decorative plate, in which penetration of water to an end surface can be prevented while suppressing protrusion of an adhesive from between the end surface and an edge material and which can be easily manufactured, and a method for manufacturing the decorative plate.SOLUTION: A decorative plate 1 comprises a woody plate 2, a first decorative sheet 3, a second decorative sheet 4, an adhesive 5 and an edge material 6. A first decorative sheet 3 covers a first face 20 of the woody plate 2 which faces a first side, and the second decorative sheet 4 covers a second face 21 of the woody plate 2 which faces a second side. The adhesive 5 is applied onto an end surface 22 of the woody plate 2. An end edge part of the first decorative sheet 3 is configured from a first portion 30 which is so bent as to cover an end part of the end surface 22 on the first side, and an end edge part of the second decorative sheet 4 is configured from a second portion 40 which is so bent as to cover an end part of the end surface 22 on the second side. The edge material 6 is bonded to the end surface 22 via a portion of the adhesive 5 protruded from between the first portion 30 and the second portion 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
