To provide a decorative board which has a pictorial pattern and an indented pattern and also is formed of a ceramic base material containing a recyclable olefin resin and a wood meal, for use as interior/outerior fittings.
The method for manufacturing the decorative board is to press a molten mixture of an olefin resin and a wood meal to a ceramic base material 1 while the mixture is coextruded onto a cooling roll 7 and laminate these materials. In this case, a molten olefin resin and an ultralow density polyethylene are coextruded into a nip between the embossed cooling roll 7 and a pressing roll 8 to perform the simultaneous cooling/setting, embossing and transfer operation. The indented decorative board is transferred along the outer periphery of an indenting roll and then is peeled by a release roll 9. Thus a transfer indented decorative board is obtained.
