Abstract:
To provide a production method capable of bonding a decorative sheet from a surface of a base plate at least to a butt end without creating tears and wrinkles.SOLUTION: A production method comprises: (a) bonding a decorative sheet 17 having a back surface coated with hot-melt bond 19 on a front surface 15 of a base plate 10; (b) cooling and solidifying the hot-melt bond coated on the back surface of a front excess part of the decorative sheet as maintaining the front excess part 18 of the decorative sheet projected in a front direction beyond a butt end 14 of the base plate in a floating status; (c) abutting the front excess part of the decorative sheet along the butt end; and (d) bonding the front excess part of the decorative sheet on the butt end with the bond through melting again the hot-melt bond solidified on the back surface of the front excess part of the decorative sheet by pressing the front excess part of the decorative sheet on the butt end while being heated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
